VIROCID® disinfectant effective against APK, 1L

VIROCID® – the strongest disinfectant effective against African swine fever

Virocid® acts bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal and sporicidal and is safe for humans, animals and their environment

Virocid® is an extremely concentrated disinfectant with synergistic action of four active ingredients.

FORM: Liquid concentrate.

COMPOSITION: Active substances:

  • quaternary ammonium compounds: alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride 170.60 g / L,
  • didecyldimethylammonium chloride 78.0 g / l;
  • aldehydes: glutaraldehyde 107.25 g / l;
  • alcohols: isopropanol 146.25 g / l.

Additives: pine oil 20.0 g / l.

FEATURES AND OPERATION:
Due to the synergistic action of four active substances, Virocid is effective even at very low concentrations (0.25-0.5%) against all microorganisms: bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores.

Virocid is more than 90% biodegradable.
It does not contain phenols. It does not contain formaldehyde. It is not corrosive. It is not carcinogenic.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION: For professional, industrial and general use.

Broad-spectrum disinfectant, suitable for use in hospitals, clinics, animal accommodation facilities, slaughterhouses, storage facilities, food processing facilities and for the disinfection of means of transport.
Virocid can be used for various substrates, for barriers, for disinfection of vehicles and equipment.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Virocid working solution can be applied in different ways: by foaming, by spraying, by (hot) fogging, or as disobedient.
For general disinfection of previously cleaned surfaces and equipment, prepare a 0.5% solution of Virocid (1 L of Virocid is mixed with 200 L of water).

How to use:

  • Final disinfection (spraying or foaming): use a 0.5% solution. The working solution is applied to previously cleaned surfaces with a low-pressure spray device or. with a high-pressure foaming device at a dose of 1 L / 4 m2. Let it work for at least 10 minutes.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of equipment (spraying, foaming): use 0.5% solution. The equipment is cleaned and disinfected with a working solution, which is applied with a low-pressure device (spraying) or with a high-pressure device (foaming) at a dose of 1 L / 4 m2. Let it work for at least 10 minutes.
  • Disobedient for vehicles and footwear: use 1.0% solution. The barrier is changed 2 to 3 times a week.
    d) Air disinfection – air spraying – cold fogging – thermal fogging: use 0.25 to 0.5% solution (1 to 2 L of Virocid is mixed with 4 L of water).
  • For spray disinfection, we use a pressure device that allows fine spraying. Use a dose of 1 L solution / 4 m2. Contact time should be at least 10 minutes.
  • Cold and warm blur: blur an empty and clean object. The working solution is prepared by mixing 1 to 2 L of Virocid with 4 L of water, which is sufficient for fogging 1000 m3. Let it work for 30 minutes.
  • Disinfection of vehicles: use a 0.5% solution for the interior and exterior of the vehicle or. 0.5 to 1% wheel disinfectant solution. Used on arrival and departure from the facility. We use spraying with a low-pressure device or foaming with a high-pressure device. Let it work for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Use in hospitals and clinics: use 0.25% to 0.5% solution. Used to disinfect all materials and surfaces. Soak all surfaces with a working solution with a spray, sponge or cloth. The surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes. Do not use the equipment until the solution has absorbed or dried.

Efficacy of Virocid solution:

  • 0.5% (1: 200) solution is effective against viruses;
  • 0.25% (1: 400) solution is effective against bacteria, fungi, molds and yeasts;
  • 0.25% (1: 400) solution for disinfecting tools, farm equipment and artificial insemination equipment;
  • 0.5% (1: 200) solution for disinfection in barriers for vehicles and footwear (change the solution regularly).
